Lost about thirty lbs. Aboot a year and a half working on body core and eating a salad for lunch every day. Also cut out carbs and most painfully french fries. Surfed a ton up until hip gave out. Older ya get the more you gotta move. It doesn't matter if you're fat if you have enough dollars.
im a junkie when it comes to food.when i get hungry,i still feeling sick, sweating,no energy.its literally gasoline for me.i eat a lot of unhealthy shit but i work like a dog and sweat it off. i do drink a glass of milk and eat a salad every night.im pretty fit but i could never live off of vedgetables and no meat.fukkkkkk that
I just had in n out.MmMmmmm Double double w/ Cheeseeeeeee Life is too short not to eat whatever you want.
Diet and exercise are huge factors no doubt, but you can't discount metabolism and genetics. Not everyone can be blessed, it takes work. I wish we had an In-n-Out here. Even a Sonic would be nice. We got a place in Seattle called Dick's that's got a pretty good burger. Whenever I'm there, I never hesitate to pick up a big bag of Dick's.
I have a buddy in his late 30s who is super cut, like not an ounce of fat anywhere. He is so muscular and cut I think he must have a fat absorption issue going on. His mom is the same way, mid sixties and as thin as a rail so I have no doubt he will be that way later in life. I on the other hand come from a family of fatties but even with my recent weight gain I'm still the thinnest in the family by far. I still have the tendency towards fatness and am constantly struggling to control it. Injured my ankle last fall and that really helped me to pile it on. Kinda sucks, still working to loose it though and will till the day I die. Genetics is probably 75 percent of the issue for most people
the problem in todays age is people sitting around on the internet who eat all day and dont do anything.i have a little gut and it makes me feel fat lol and everyones like oh have u been working out and stuff.no i just have a hard ass job lol. i think back to younger times when i never excercized or anything and had a perfect 6pack all cut up and shit.but back then i used to ride my bike everywhere and i probably did like 20 miles a day not even thinking about it,just riding around all day.im strong in the upper body and legs because i lift a lot of heavy stuff but im basically standing on my feet all day,not really doing much moving
This thread is funny, it reminds me of Emass Spicoli. And his handle has come up on a couple of other recent threads too. I got to talk to him on the phone once or twice, and pm'ed each other back and forth a few times. His job (which a few guys were pestering him about) brought him out to this coast pretty frequently and he would contact me for pointers on the local breaks. I didn't get real deep into it but I'm pretty sure his career revolved around the health and fitness market. The few times it was discussed on this board or with me, he seemed super knowledgeable about a very wide range of subjects. Pretty sure he followed that knowledge into a gig in SoCal and last i heard he was surfing his balls off. Interesting dude for sure. Maybe do a search of some of his posts on some old health and exercise threads, he was always good for a laugh lol.
Weight problem?? Cut back calorie intake (for men) to 500 in a day (normal is 2K calories per day average intake). Do this once per week -twice per week if trying to actually loose lots of weight. Cells don't know what to do, because they're not getting constant fuel to re-create/build so they start a reparative process. No special diet is necessary although fruits, veggies and whole grains are recommended. Basically, shut down your typical intake, the body responds by repairing cells rather than storing the excess energy you don't need but continually consume.
For weight loss I recommend fentanyl. For weight gain I recommend fentanyl. Now, on a serious note, genetics is your boss. But the american diet is really bad. ALL of us eat processed food, whether we want to or not. Even the "organic" products are processed foods. That label decreed to some products by government is a deception. Having said that, I prefer the American diet to an Ethiopian one, don't you??
Last year I stopped drinking beer for a month and lost 10 pounds. It was nuts. Here's my SI medical advise for staying healthy: At the grocery store, stay around the perimeter of the store. The aisles are filled with processed junk food. As 'cuda said even the "healthy" stuff is super processed. I stick to the produce section, the butcher, pick up a little bread (trying not to eat carbs, so no potatoes either), and a small bit of cheese. Then I take that stuff home and my girlfriend makes me some delicious healthy meals haha. I know it's the trendy food thing, but I like to eat whole foods. Not the store, the concept. The fewer ingredients the better. I hardly ever eat at restaurants anymore, except for my occasional cajun filet biscuit from Bojangles. They make me ill and filled with regret but are so delicious. As far as sit down places, I only go to appease the lady. After working in the service industry just the thought of who could possibly be prepping/cooking my food makes me lose my appetite. I would rather drop $25 at the butcher on a nice ribeye and cook it just the way I like it at home, than go to a restaurant and spend $80 (i like to drink) and have some asshole who hates his life overcook my shitty steak. My way, I know exactly what is going on the meat, I control the cook time, and I get to burn ganja while i'm cooking
They better be non gmo, non carcinogenic, organic, biodynamic, aerodynamic, no sugar, no salt, no fat, no flour, no sprinkles, all natural pop tarts.
Did anyone elses dick get hard, or just me?! Bojangles is the bestttt. I had a layover in NC and there was one in the terminal. Highlight of my trip!
