I just got a Carver this year!Thing is so much fun. Had been riding it everyday and I think it really improved my surf sessions. I had been trying to get back into real skating as well but that stuff is so high impact and my joints are screwed from the 10+ years I went hard on it.... Also I’ve been here a long time not the original crew but I was creeping on the forum back in 08’-09’ I think I joined in 10’

here...been a difficult time and haven't been on much this past year.

 

Goin on 8 years in this place. I have debated the meaning of the space time continuum with SouthJettyBill and NorthJettyWill. I have argued the merits of surfing v. boggy boarding with SeldomSeen. I have seen the likes of Metard come and go and was here when the rest of the world first discovered Belmar. Does that make me old school?

First SI account = many users simultaneously posting under it. Was entertaining for multiple reasons.

Can't forget the good ole Bulletin Boards and Usenets. FB eventually ruined most of the best pre-SI sites, with exception to a few non-public ones.

Any word on the revival of the banned list? Totally forgot about yankee and njny. Those dudes were great. Please revive them and bring them back.

 

NYNJ is around here, it's NNYNJ now I believe, or something like that. Yankee is doing well but his account is permabanned by Austine and the mods.
