Yes, they are. However, that is step one on their way to 'America. I went to England 20 yrs ago, with 20 young musicians (my daughter was one), as chaperone. One of the chinese kids forgot to bring her passport with her, so I was assigned to take her into London to the US Embassy. At 6AM, on our arrival there, the Embassy had a line 2X around the huge block it was on. All Africans, Hindu, Pakistani, chinks, japs, hebes, towel heads ....you name it, waiting to get a visa to 'America. They all told me, as we also waited in line, UK first (easy step), then America!! God bless America!! There is gold in the streets!!!

Sig you ungrateful bastolio. Riddle me this Carmen Sandiego...name me a successful socialist country that is a melting pot of diversity like America. Then we can discuss further.

When was the last time you were in Europe? Based on your comment, I think you would be surprised how diverse a lot of the western European countries have become. Not saying anyone is better than the good ole US of A, but it would not be a stretch to call western Europe a "melting pot" based on my personal travels (and a lot of those countries are socialists).

I could live in France easily, and enjoy myself as much there as here. But as every country has great points, they also have negatives as well. The reason for immigrants desire to come here is "opportunity". Immigrants in other western countries (socialist or non) soon find out that it is hard to get started there, compared to what they hear about 'merica. So, they then start blowing things up over there. Too bad, really. They should just stay home and contribute to fixing up their own home, rather than running with their tails tucked in their legs......

No dude, Sig's a big boy. He has a penchant for hyperbole and Chavez called him on it.

I want to hear his answer too. We all want to hear his answer. Let the dogs run a bit before we tug somebody else's leash.

Well sure, the people from poor 3rd world countries would love to come here and in fact risk much to do so, but I'm talking about other industrialized countries in reference to bally-hoos comment, "Its called Socialism. Its being used across the world to further agendas that will only work by controlling people thru collectivism."

People from other industrialized countries that many conservatives would consider 'socialist' are enjoying a quality of life that exceeds the average US citizens by many measures.

That's the thing though, it's *not* bad. I've been to France many times (going again in a couple of weeks). The place is doing just fine, more than fine. Some problems here and there, but nothing like we face here on a daily basis with shootings and crime.

Depends on your definition of socialism, one man's socialism is another man's capitalism. However, we are not as diverse as one may suspect compared to many other countries (African countries in particular). Even Canada is more culturally diverse than the US -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_ranked_by_ethnic_and_cultural_diversity_level

Cmon Sig, take a stand would you? No fucking way a real capitalist country would put up with an unelected EU!

You know all about Europe? So you have or haven't spent time over there recently?

You are the one saying people like me get all our info from the MSM, so have you spent time in over there or are you just going off of what you read?

Having spent time in Germany, France, Italy, England, Switzerland and Spain in the past 5 years, I still contend that a lot ofEurope is equally, if not more diverse, and doing pretty well. Wouldn't move there because I do love living in this country, but if had to move anywhere else, it would be France or Switzerland.

You make too many assumptions. Good for you and your current travel life style, enjoy it.

I make too many assumptions? Wouldn't the person having not been to those countries, yet pontificating on their culture and quality of life, be the one making the assumptions?

*You didn't answer my question as to if you have spent time there so I HAVE to assume you haven't.

What do think about stuff like this though? I just stumbled on the video. Some seem to feel differently.

Again, you force me to have to make assumptions because you won't answer a direct question....yet you demand answers from Sig, funny how that works.
