only people i know from that area ride dh but only a few 'surf'. Those guys seem to be mostly in OCNJ area.

Ok lost all respect for whoever the stand up paddle guy fishing in the middle of the lineup with a big bloody cut bait was today. Was getting chewed out verbally left and right for like an hour straight til he got the hint.

 

Cocoa Pier, back in April, dude paddles out right next to me and complements me on a wave I just entirely effed up so I knew he didn't surf. No biggie, just please stay out of my way sir. He was actually a super nice dude and never dropped in on me. I didn't pay much attention to him until we ended up sitting near each other when I finally turn to get a full look at him. His wetsuit was on backwards, zipped all the way up. At first I thought, Ah man this guy is such a kook I should help him out and give him some advice. But then I thought, screw it, why bother? Why encourage anyone else? I just grinned and kept on. He could quite possibly be putting that wetsuit on backwards to this day.

 

Pure gold, man that's funny! HAHAHA

The kookiest looking thing on the water today was probably me when I got my leash wrapped around my leg and took a pretty quick steep drop... did the whole flailing around surfing on one foot thing lol. But I rode the dam thing out and it turned into a fun lefty anyhow hahahap

 

My wave selection today was, at times, VERY kooky.

 

I ejected out of a drop and jumped to safety on a throaty one. At this point in sesh inside was shin deep and dumpy.

Later, my cuz called me a barrel dodger...I felt kookie.
