It's cool to see how these guys generate sooo much speed on the small stuff, where they position themselves on the wave to squeeze some juice.

Can some one splain me why they didn't hold the contest during a decent swell? They just had Mex hurricanes and new stuff has to be on radar, no?

I think the last run of swell we had in southern ca was too far away from the opening period. They would have had to move it up like 10 days...

I havnt watched the us open consistently since kellys 10,whatever year that was like 2009 or something.it was epic that year.havnt seen it since(contest wise).I might watch 5 minutes of a heat but its pointless,1 footers and underage girls don't do it for me

 

Brazilians will claim the judges conspired against Dora on his last score. Interference call aside, it should be like the NFL regarding excessive celebrations, which could basically result in suspension of all Brazilian competitors and their annoying antics.
