$60 shorts?

Never did like it, when a male attempted to be as feminine as myself; so, you are okay by me. Having a tailor isn't fancylad at all. I've always had a seamstress and wouldn't begrudge a male the same care to detail. Clothes always look better, when they hang as they should, even a pair of men's board shorts. If I were a guy, I would do it, if nothing else simply because the greater majority of the prints out there leave something more to be desired.

 

I was assured that the L/S top had only been peed in once or twice.

 

1. When is your departure date?
2. How long will you be gone?
3. Will a photographer be in tow?
4. Why didn't you wait until you got there to purchase a pair, as a memento of your trip?
5. Do we finally get to see what these RipCurl trunks look like (a photo...don't have to be modeling them, but I don't mind, if so...)?

 

A Billabong $tore near me just had a sale. My wife called and said she was going... asked if she should pick up anything for me. I said no. She brought me back a pair of boardshorts... look like sh!t... fit like sh!t.

But I think that's a record for me... two pair of new bordies in the same year.

 

lol...hate to shop, unless I'm shopping for gifts.

 

And you best check that receipt. That's a tactic many of us females use to throw you guys off, when we go off (toss a lil something in there for you, too). I can easily drop $2k in a surf shop during one visit on bikinis alone.

Or surfboards, for me lol. I have a terrible time buying clothes that fit without looking like Omar the tent maker... plus I’m always wearing shitty clothes because I do dirty work and have developed that “don’t give a shit” viewpoint. That being said, the last three pairs of shorts bought for me still have tags on them - old habits and old shorts die hard I guess

No complaints yet and hopefully never. Our clothes are always more expensive and always have been. Seriously hate all shopping, but especially for clothes. Will bulk purchase like that, simply so I don't have to waste time all year again. Own way too many clothes, and like you, many with tags still on them. Favorites receive my seamstress' immediate attention and the rest hang, until I am ready to get pin-pricked again... Would own even more if specialty boutiques still had in-house seamstresses, like in the good ole days, but they've mostly all gone cheap. Get a tailor and simply do a bit at a time.

When I knew him, he lived in Buxton, in a little shack behind someone's house, near the radio tower. (this was in the 80s)

 

Im not a big bean for burning bra’s or forgoing shaving but I will most readily admit it is a vastly different world for you ladies - and trust me when I say most men apprecIte that and the efforts you put into things like this do not go unnoticed. Not that you even need to give a shit about what I think lol

 

yea...he has been flying by the seat of his pants down there all these years. A few years back, I broke my nose off on an inside shack during a cane swell. I took it to Nolte's shop for repair. He (Nolte) was building him a custom paddle board (apparently he had to lose a bunch of weight and Nolte was going to hook him up). Anyway, he was making a custom stringer that he cut and glued together...I want to say it was like 5-6" thick. I have never seen Delbert out on a paddle board or surfing in a long long time.

 

Watched the vid and read both articles. Imagine he had a few choice words off camera. I certainly wouldn't want to live there but couldn't find anything wrong with his perspective, and would even say he was way ahead of his time regarding conservation and recycling. Two of his relatives posted in the comment section of the video two years ago.
