Yo, DP - resident SI historian - can you please inform me on who Austin is and what exactly he did? I have seen his name quite a bit, but must have been MIA during his tenure. Need to get caught up on the drama.

And I would assume (and hope) that this guy has no relation to Austin Surf in VB.

 

He was brought in to be Admin for a while, people kinda liked him for a while till he started getting ban happy and straight up deleting long time members accounts for trivial stuff. We were told he no longer works there but who knows.

Oh the part where I tried to play peace maker between the Admin and the community to get him to lighten up and let us do our thing?

Or the part where I fought on your behalf to get him to lift your ban the first time when you posted porn? Only for you to disrespect me every chance you get as a token of your gratitude?

I tried giving him advise to keep this place fun and he took some of it but then he just went off the deep end and I lost my influence over him.

That’s when the bans started again. The only people I ever suggested he should ban were the duplicate / troll accounts created only to target certain people and cause trouble. I had no way of knowing who was behind those accounts, but he could and I guess he did what he felt he had to do.

I didn’t control anything at any point. I was never a mod. I was asked to be one and I respectfully declined. I prefer being part of the group, and there is no compensation so what’s the damn point?

That’s the truth of it all. I also fought hard to get Stank’s account reactivated, I even tried to convince him to let him keep the funny screename that made fun of Austin’s bleeding ass, but he wouldn’t allow it. True story folks. I almost had him lol

Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread - obviously Trev's safety is top of mind here - but I'm trying to get caught up on some of the key points I've missed throughout my casual existence.

 

I swear on my brothers grave that I fought for your freedom and to keep Austin'sBleedingAnus as your screename. He almost went for it, but he got cold feet at the last minute and wouldn't let it happen.

 

I'll back up DP on this one, he was trying to keep everything glued together when shit was hitting the fan
