Lemme ask you a couple questions. Why did you join this forum? You joined right after Trump got elected and have posted nothing related to surfing. You have only posted on political threads. Your name on here is Shredman. Do you shred? Where do you hail from? I got no dog in this fight as I hate ALL politicians on both sides but all also hate all the butthurt, spoiled SJW bitches in this country that have done nothing but cry since the Orange haired one got elected. The lawyers then returned to open court, and further sniping ensued after jurors left for the day. At the end of the day, Andres apologized to the judge, saying he didn’t mean to be disrespectful. The judge seemed to offer an olive branch.

“Don’t worry about it,’’ said Ellis, a 31-year veteran of the bench. “I’m not concerned about that at all. I remember trying cases.’’

Ellis said he had cases that were important to him and his career.

“I remember the stress and I remember the pressure,’’ he said. “This is a stressful time. So I understand that. But I’m trying to minimize the stress time is all I’m trying to do. And I think we can do it. I don’t think this case is as complex as it could be made to be.’’

 

Definetly a bad decision on Trumps side to poke fun of Obama for golfing. Golfing, fishing, surfing are some of the best ways to develop a strong relationship with business partners. More can get done a golf course than inside a wire tapped office.

 

The difference is Trump actually gets things done while still having time to Golf. Work hard, play hard.

if the judge doesn't stop interjecting his personal feelings into the proceedings a case could possibly be made for a mistrial. interesting trial though.

manafort and gates are both fine examples of how trump selects "only the best people". oh wait, they were just coffee boy and assistant coffee boy. for a very short period of time.

A South Carolina company plans to lay off almost all its workers — 126 people — because of the Trump administration's tariffs.

Element Electronics, which assembles televisions, notified the state of the expected job cuts earlier this week. The company also plans to close its plant in the town of Winnsboro.

The company said the layoffs and plant closure were a direct result of US tariffs on goods imported from China, including important parts that Element uses to put together TVs.

The layoffs will begin in October. By the end of the year, a skeleton crew of eight people will be left, the company said.

Element said on Twitter that it is working to have the parts removed from the tariff list, and hopes it can avoid closing the plant. In its notice, it also said it could reopen in three to six months. The company declined further comment.

In July, the administration imposed a 25% tariff on $34 billion worth of Chinese imports. Beijing, accusing the United States of trade bullying, has retaliated by imposing tariffs on American goods of equal value.

The United States plans tariffs on an additional $16 billion of Chinese goods, to take effect August 23.

The planned layoffs at Element Electronics were first reported by The State newspaper of Columbia.

yea, it had nothing to do with their product, sales, and customer service. Tariffs may not have helped, but a quick search of internet will show you what this company has been doing in recent years. Nice try tho...
