My college roommate pooped his suite in February in AC.
I saw him on the inside in about 2' of water near gardener's pier with his suite past his knees and he was douching his whole under-region.

From the sounds of it- I think your tucking wrong.

Suit legs goes over the boots- boots get tucked in. Roll your suit leg up like 2 inches- put on boot- then roll suite over top.

If water intrusion happend while sand reconneing- wrapping a little electrical tape on top of the suit - over the overlap over the boot- will help. The tape sticks to itself when wet. Not too tight. This will keep water out 100%

Also- about the pee... your just gonna have to hold it , if you don't like pee in your boot. It's gonna end up there... it's just pee, it's ok...

 

Always piss the suite. Its magic and 12 times out of 10 it works everytime

Dental floss and needle. Make sure you separate the stitches a bit so the pull on the suite gets disperesed well on floss (and not on holes you make with needle). Dental floss has held my 5/4 mutant neck hole together for a couple years now. That and having other suites to wear/alternate.

Then use that suite tar over your stitches for max sealant. Or don’t and be lazy like me and deal with the 32* water. It’s really only the wind the freezes my nuggets.

 

Dude EVERYONE thinks I'm a freak for doing this. Before i paddle out i pee. In my suit. It trickles out my ankle. It's like a ritual for me. I get excited and have to pee before paddling out. Apparently it's ok if your in the water but not when your dry standing on sand.

That is great. One of the spots in MD has bathrooms and I've had to get out in my winter suit to drop a duecy. One time my session was done so I come out the bathroom with my suit around my ankles and towel wrapped around my waist and there is a family hanging around. I stub my toe which causes me to drop the towel whilst i yell "shiitttt". Family all look at me. I am buck naked with wetsuit on my ankles. I froze. Was a solid 10 seconds before I cover up. They had a teenage daughter. I thought I would now have to register as sex offender when they report me. Turns out they were cool. I was like "sorry". They laughed. Later on my buddy said they laughed cuz my frozen wee wee was so small!

This is basically my move in the winter, although I'm not sure if I've actually peed while still standing on the beach completely dry. But I'll step into like ankle deep water, pee in the suite before going in any deeper, and then as I start to walk further into the water I'll close my eyes and pretend I'm climbing into a hot tub. Yeah I'm a weirdo, but it works for me and makes one of the more unpleasant moments of a typical winter session... almost enjoyable sometimes?

And yes, even tucking the boots under the legs some of the pee definitely ends up in them. And that's totally fine, cause when I'm surfing in 32 degree water, I will stick my feet in warm piss all day long with no hesitation whatsoever. The fact that it's my own is really just a bonus at that point. (Kidding on that last part... I think.)

 

Of course this. It’s so hard to pee whilst laying on a bort rocking back and forth, and I don’t like doing the side lay on the bort either. 40-70 seconds is too long of a sneaker set comes, and it’s really obvious what’s going on

 

Exactly! If i don't pee then I'll have to pee in the water and then I'll get side tracked and I'll miss a set or whatever
