Kelly's pool is working. This is just proof of concept. So you know.... that's not the wave. I think this one actually had waaaaay more potential compared to Kelly's. 4 diffrent "reefs"....a left and right on each.....8 waves being ridden at once. Plus the diffrent "reefs" for diffrent style waves. That's pretty cool. If it works the same at 6-8ft as it does in there proof of concept i think it'll blow the surf ranch away
Just a 8ft artificial wave alone will blow all the other wave pools away. When you add the slabs, wow, what a time to be alive.
Im actually going to Australia in April. I know it wont be done by then but I haven’t seen a “estimated date” for it anywhere. Could be years before its done.

I guess it's a cheap place to build but this place appears to be in the middle of nowhere. Even the one in CA is out in the Valley, not a short drive from SF or LA. If I've got to travel a long way to go surfing, I'd rather just go to the ocean. Put one of these in metro DC or NYC and you'll make a lot of money though.
I think that might be the point. Keep the folks not from the coast...um.... not near the coast. Enjoy your lineup on days when its waist and kinda crappy. The valley folks will be paying per wave for chest high chlorine lines. And also.... no sharks!
