Mats are without a doubt the best thing to ride other than a surfboard. Talk about fast? Geeze they fly and if you leave them a bit under inflated you can sqeeze them to harden one rail or another to get a really customized edge. I love the Mat!!!

Yeah this summer I decided to drop in on them. 2 SUPs in the lineup means NO waves for the rest of us. I told one guy, "You can have the 1st 100 yards, but when the wave gets to me its my turn-sorry."

Dropkneeing?.......More surfing or BBing? What you think? I love Dropkneeing in perfect surf...... No fins to keep you on the face and keeping your rail.

I would love to make my own but I am space limited I can even make room to shape a surf board . Who I am gonna get mine from makes one nicer than the ones on the link .

Maybe after I take care of some stuff around the house I will build me a nice work shop / Surf board storage area for me. My 12 x 20 shed with no electric just wont cut it

First of all...this is for all the standup riders that keep calling it BOOGIE BOARD, yeah it's boogie boarding when ur like 5 years old and u ride a piece of blue foam, ITS A BODYBOARD! It's seems like the guys out in the lineup who call it a boogie board are the guys that got no respect and no game. Idk why but I gave no tolerence for surfers with no respect for bodyboarders. I was at the wooden jetty just after Ida and I sat in the lineup until it was my turn but some young chump tried getting inside on me, I was in the perfect spot, but he droped in on me anyway, even after I called him off. No respect, I don't play these games! He was about arms length from me so I paddled into my section and flung my board at him. I don't think it hit him but he ate it hard. He had so much smack to talk from a distance but nothing to say when I paddled by him. But...u know what he stayed away from me and the lineup was packed and not one person dropped in in me the rest of my session. I hate acting like that but it works, so next time ur thinking about snaking a bodyboarder, just think...hmm...am I gonna get a board flung at me...

Aussie boards are the shiznit! Elit' 50 PE double stringer, what do u ride?

I have mad respect for bodyboarders since Jay Reale taught me tons about waves, BUT I do get bent out of shape when a sponger calls themselves a 'surfer'. I notice most guys who do this really aren't very good and the guys who kill it on a bb always refer to themselves as bodyboarders.

Don't take any ****!!! hahah... Where do you ride most? You talking about Wooden Jetty @ South LBI?

A lot of times I say to people I "surf or going surfing" because a lot of times if I say, I'm going "Bodyboarding" they look at you like the fug?! and then you have to explain and then it comes down to... "ohhhhh you boogieboard!" hhaha But in the grand scheme of things, I say I bodyboard and proud!

I understand your point, but how can flinging a piece of foam at someone intimidating?

Yeah SUPs are near the top of the 'Most Retarded Things to Ride Waves On' list.

Right below Channel Islands Boards (the clear number 1).

I have to say, surfing gets old! I use to surf and prob could still shred, prob shred better than half the guys in the water. Seems like the winter filters out the kooks that think they are good, the ones who have problems with us bodyboarders. I'm not scared to fling poop Matt, u take my line, u take my poop right in ur face! Haha!

Hey I am not one to take anybodys wave . I never have done it on purpose nor will I ever. I acidents do happen though from time to time. Sometimes when you call someone off and they dont here you it could be something simple as they might have earplugs and just didnt here you.

It doesnt matter what you ride Surfboard, Bodyboard whatever, were all riding waves just we all use a diffent method to propel us.

I am sorry you lost you stoke on riding a surfboard maybe oneday you get inspired to do so agian.

Yeah winter sure does tend to thin the crowds down alot which is good cause it make things safer for everyone out in the water.

Fling all the poo you want My boards are bigger LOL:D

There is nothing for you to comprehend bc u weren't the one who got bored with it. U see on a surfboard u cant launch off the lip and do a backflip or get crazy frogman. For me it's more of a rush

okay, lets be honest here...the learning curve on a surfboard is WAY much more difficult than on a BB, therefore to me-the ends justifies the means. I could probably learn to do a backflip frogman scuba-doo or whatever the f*** on a BB in a summer where it might take me a lifetime to do the same on a surfboard. Just my opinion, but I can bet that many surfers will agree. I'm not knocking BB, but surfing is WAY WAY much harder than BB.

    Flame Suit On :D

Actually learing to backflip, stuff in the air is pretty hard to learn..any bodyboarder would agree
