Great first three points ... I’m being selfish because I’m afraid of the diagnosis if you wanna get down to the bone, but it’s still selfish. But on top of that, get cut and heal in three weeks? I heal like a dog I’m told but that’s not gonna happen... still a good point though... But the fourth point?? I’m made out of steel, chew nails and spit thumbtacks, ride water buffaloes and came here cause I thought you might need saving. And I like a group hug every once in a while Hahahahahahahah
Since I had MOHS surgery done on my face last year, I get checked every 6 months. They did a biopsy of 4 spots: one on each shoulder and two more on my face. the face spots were labeled "age spots" the other shoulder was just a 'sun spot" the one they removed was stage two, not in the blood but too close to the fatty tissue so it needed immediate removal.
Not protecting myself on my yearly trips to PR are what put me in my current predicament. Years of no rash guard and minimal sunscreen in a tropical clime in the Winter. No bueno

Take care and heal up, Chav. I hit the dermatologist a couple times a year for periodic "spot checks". ******** Since October, this Fall has mostly been a bust for me surf-wise. Water temp is already down in the mid-40s. Too many other things at work and on the home front. Retirement after this month will change much of this. I should be able to still get on the base at Dam Neck once I have my civil service retiree card. Until then, I'll likely be at Croatan. My oldest son will be here from Texas over the Holidays and itching to get in the water. It's been over a year for him.
Just got out from an amazing session, chest - head sets, glassy walls with long lines made for shredding, some of the best surfing I have done in my life. I rode the 6’4”, it was just awesome!
Dusk patrol to RI to enjoy some logging. Really felt all the rubber today for some reason, missed a lot of waves I should have caught. Air was 50 and not many people out so it’s all good.
125+ waves in 6 days; CR is an amazing place. I'll always be the hack surfer but dang it's fun. Pics to follow in a few daze.
I agree man...I have not had a bad trip there over the years (past 20 years ...). Glad you got the goods...living the dream mang!!!
