Political grandstanding by a Dem judge. Hatchet job on Flynn.

 

Flynn’s attorneys have pointed out that two FBI officials involved in interviewing Flynn have since been investigated themselves for misconduct. FBI counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok, who interviewed Flynn, was fired a year later over anti-Trump text messages. Then-FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who had arranged the interview but wasn't present for it, was fired for what the Justice Department called a lack of candor involving a media leak.


Soooooo. Flynn gets busted for lying to the FBI, whilst the political saboteurs in the FBI get.....a pass.

 

Flynn is allegedly guilty of lying to the FBI. That's it. Judge Emmett is trying to infer treason - - nowhere is Flynn accused or convicted of anything like that.

As in, what politician hasn't lied to the FBI asshats....?

Man, Flynn is now merely a political football that the system chewed up & spat out.

 

After a brief recess, Sullivan clarified his scathing statements, prompting the prosecutors to note Flynn’s work as a foreign agent occurred before he took a job at the White House. He also walked back his treason comments, saying he wasn’t suggesting Flynn committed treason, but was “just curious.”

“After looking at the definition of treason, we have no reason to believe he committed treason,” prosecutors said.

Huh?? Prosecutors had to "LOOK UP" the definition for treason???

As for Flynn lying, I would lie to them as well, once deprived of my Miranda rights. If they don't play by the rules, neither will I. Classic case of entrapment by the Feds. I remain amazed Flynn has not contested that and had the whole case tossed out of court.

 

You're OK with how the FBI handled their business with regard to Flynn? Or is it just another Trump appointee so who really cares?

And of course the slobbering media won't report assclown Emmett's 'clarification' comments with anything near the fervent hard-ons they reported his initial outburst.

Not sure why you guys are defending Flynn considering he more than likely spilled a ton of dirt on Trump. Thus the cooperation and recommendation of no jail time.

 

What dirt? If Trump aint worried and is wishing him luck then he must be pretty confident in Flynn. The recommendation of no jail time is because they know they handled the case wrong and it will come back to bite them.
