I have no problem with the GoFundMe, but isn't it kinda saying DJT failed? I know he's kept most of his promises, but if he can't get it built without people paying out of their pockets is that a failure?

 

It’s not over till it’s over. There’s still the chance that he gets the funding through Congress. If not, it’s not 100% on him. It takes the cooperation of the Democrats and Never Trumper faux Republicans, and they haven’t cooperated because that means he gets his signature campaign promise accomplished and that guarantees his re-election. They don’t want that. They want his failure more than they want America’s success and sovereignty.

 

I agree that they want him to fail more than they want to see the US succeed... But I don't agree that it's not on him. He made a promise that he would get the wall built and that Mexico would pay for it... Forget the Mexico part because that is not going to happen.

If he can't get it built it's on him for not fulfilling his promise.
I don't think you can't tout all of his kept promises and say how successful he's been and then say it's not on him when he doesn't come through.

This is the part that make him a politician. When he was campaigning it was Mexico will pay for the wall. Then for a while was all about the stock market and how great he is for it.
Now he's crickets while the market is tanking and there's no talk of Mexico paying for a wall.

 

I didn’t say it’s not on him. I said it’s not 100% on him. Gotta put blame on Congress too. I believe the wall will be built one way or the other. If it takes the support of citizens then so be it. But that’s not necessarily what will happen. Let’s wait and see how it plays out.

As for Mexico. We’re getting more from them through the new trade agreement. And there is talk about them securing their Southern border too, which benefits both Countries.

I would wait till his time as President is over before we determine it’s a failure. Lots can still happen.
