Great Lakes Surfing Advice?

insta has plenty of footage, and i'm sure if you sent a message to an accnt they'd hook you up

I was in Milwaukee for work last june, went looking around and found a spot with some short period 2-3'...talked to a guy getting out and he pointed me to lake effect surf shop which was .5 miles away. rented a foamy, put it on top of the rental car, and a suite and got an hour with one nice long left from breaker to breaker

it was nothing spectacular, but it made my work trip more fun for sure

The pollution there would make the Gowanus Canal seem like a mountain spring. That being said, I’d hit it 10/10 times if I was there

 

That's so cool! I've been to the Great Lakes, and never did I ever know that you could surf on them.
