It is way different playing at Alabama than the pros... I'm all for guys getting paid in college but the 3 year out of college rule is fine for NFL players... It's not the NBA. It's a violent sport with grown killers. And I do understand that there are exceptions that could survive, but they are outliers.
So the Rams are in the Super Bowl. Anybody think the Saints got robbed by the refs no call on the pass interference / hit on defenseless receiver / head to head contact play?
What a terrible non call. It was a horrible day for refs all around. When are they going to get these 60+ guys off the field and get some in shape guys in their late 30's/40's with better eyes to ref. Weird they expect 60 year old to keep up with the worlds best athletes and see everything. Either make the refs younger or add a couple more to the field. It's gotten unbearable seeing some of the terrible calls yesterday.
Because its rigged. Pro sports has always been rigged, not 100% all games but good a portion are. It only takes a call here or there to steer a game in the right direction, its a stage. I have learned to just enjoy the show!
If it was rigged they would definitely have rigged it the other way. NFL would much rather have Brees vs Brady over Goff... Unless they rigged it to insure that they make less $
Will have 1/4 of the interest. Brees vs Brady was the $ maker. If the bad call went against the Rams there could be conspiracy talk, but the NFL is just as pissed as NOLA
Majority of people watching SB dont even know who Brees is. SB is a different game, brings different type of viewers.
You're probably right but just playing devil's advocate here. What about LA being one of the largest media markets in the world? And the Rams being back in LA with a young coach with a lot of "new energy", trying to rebuild that franchise and tap into that humongous marketing base? These are other angles that could be looked at for viewership.
That's just not true. You are correct that its a different viewer, but Brees is a household name. Goff on the other hand...
