Figured you'd come back with that shine.

Nope. Not buying it, buddy. You've taken a number of snarky potshots at me over the years on this Fourumme. It's not at all you busting balls - - unless you're a b!tch, oh haha haha my bad.... just bustin' balls! o_O Your words have an edge to them, that's just how you roll.

I've seen you in the lineup, spoke with you in the parking lot, you're what I described in my initial post, that's just how you are with a lot of folks. I'm not the only one who's experienced it. But, hey, dude, you can tell yourself, and post here, whatever self-image you want to believe. Free country!

Back to the surfing treade. And your magnificent, cooler than cool pics. ONLY your pics

Is it chilly in CR in February (rubber)?

I have never been in February....

Really nice tropical water & warm/hot air temps in dry season. No rubber necessary.

I wear an O'Neil vest for a few reasons. Mainly to prevent the chafing & the creation of whatever those lumps are that can be seen on a lotta longtime surfers upper rib cage area. Two-a-day & three-a-day sessions would wear a hole in my rib area with just a rashie.

Also, needed padding after appendectomy. Just stayed with the vest after that. And, it provides a bit more traction when paddling.

btw, unrelated, the orange is not my call  the photogs want color blasts, something to do with it provides better contrast or something like that. Not sure, photography is not my thing. Was gonna wear blue paint on my face to appease Barry but the photog talked me out of it.

Actually, yankee is consistent. He called me out for my bs passive aggressive judging years ago. And he was right.

So what is meant by mitchell mocking a guy posting a photo?
I for one would like a specific explanation.

We should all be allowed to share our stoke without the critics is the message, buoys. Get with the program or get called out, even holey mitchell.

Blessed be thee, BBreak, for your Fourumme OG-ness (awesome) & keeping it absolutely real via Accountability, One Nation Indivisible.

Barry has a well-known sardonic, wry humor to his posts & we all dig that, his William Wallace Blue Man Face regarding my initial efforts at posting surfing pics made me LOL, as I'm sure it did for many.

    Not so much on the humor side with The Man Who Self-Defines Delmarva Surfing;
it's weak sauce that Mitchell thinks he's some sort of core surf guru that has license to rip on other people's surfing pics, as well as put forth name-calling, as well as inferring someone is gay & in so doing mentioning homosexuality as a negative, it's a kit bag of nastiness that is brought & Mitchell knows exactly what he's up to by intent & design, he's that passive aggro fella as I mentioned whom I've experienced in person, as have others.

The end result here being that he only serves to dissuade folks from posting surfing pics. Which is a downer cause many of us do look forward to any & all surfing pics from folks here on the Fourrume.

So, 'yes' to your well-stated points.

I have always believed in this treade specifically being a cool place whereby "we should all be allowed to share our stoke without the critics." This faith is eroded by Mitchell's criticisms.

Anyways, let's try to get this treade back to surfing imho

    peas & good waves

I figured...every time I have been (during months of April May and June), the water has been bath water. It almost feels like you are sweating.

The post surgery padding makes some sense...

When in CR or PR, I always wear 1 mill tank top neoprene vest. Rash sucks. Severe rash sucks even worse. Just in case, I always bring along a tube of hydrocortisone for inner thighs, if needed.
I can surf multiple times daily with the neoprene, and it does NOT make me hot; keeps me in great comfort zone. Worth the $45 investment.

I typically wear a long sleeve rash guard. Primarily for UV protection but it does prevent rash on the belly pits and Tits.

I bought one a few years back that was supposedly 50 spf. Good marketing...
