    Yo!
Happy Sunday. Was wondering if anybody has been down to NW Puerto Rico recently? Have they bounced back from Maria? Thinking about heading down to shacks for three weeks in February with the wife and 1 year old baby. The rental agent says its fine. Was wondering if anybody had any further insite. Many thanks!

I just returned last night. Was there for one week.
PR is back entirely. You will occasionally see a power grid truck going around performing "second pass" on lines, as they return to areas they fixed during the rush to fix all. Now, as I also grew up in PR, allow me a personal advice to give you-- regarding your child--make DAMN SURE you keep her/him out of sun, in the shade. Even so, get adequate CHILD sunblock product and USE it. You can get a sun burn sitting under trees if you are fair skinned. Reflection off the water is a bitch. And even in winter. Now, if you decide to burn yourself, I frankly don't give a damn--but your wife will most certainly appreciate the baby staying healthy and pain free. Happy wife--happy life!!
    Enjoy your trip.
