Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) made radical statements Monday night on Twitter, suggesting that the United States should not have authorized the use of force against those who perpetrated the 9/11 attacks — the deadliest terrorist attack in world history.
Ocasio-Cortez plainly stated that "all of Congress was wrong" to vote in favor of the Authorization to Use Military Force (AUMF) and that Barbara Lee was correct for not voting for it.

"The AUMF was passed with Lee’s lone dissenting vote on Sept. 14, 2001, three days after terrorists from Osama Bin Laden’s al Qaeda organization crashed commercial airliners into the World Trade Center, Pentagon and a field in Pennsylvania killing more than 3,000 people," The Huffington Post reported.

Walking away from a bad deal offer isn't a fail. Hostages were released. USA soldier remains from Korean War came home. There is open communication with Nork. There aren't warheads / missiles winging their way over the Sea of Japan anymore. The USA is in a far, far better place with Nork than under Obama.

If I ran for public office tomorrow, yeah there would be a ton of stuff out there that I'm not too proud of, but I'm young (in comparison to most politicians), and I never really had much money until my career got going so there's nothing that could really hurt me too bad.

Now if you add a flock of RWNJs who will spin ridiculous propaganda, and even more RWNJs like yank, bally, and NPL who will lap that shit up, then you have yourself a nice smear campaign.

 

I honestly don't get the fascination with AOC. I had to look up AOC to see what you guys were talking about. I mean she's just a freshman congresswoman, young, and full of big ideas. She must have something going on to get you guys so up in arms. Congress is mostly composed of morons, so it must be more than that. Why are you guys so captivated by her?

 

I stated a few pages back that "she's small potatoes" and that Republicans would be better served to "ignore the yapping Chihuahua at their heels" and that "they should maintain their focus" on other more significant people and issues.

The press certainly keeps her alive, but it doesn't help that the right is so rigidly focused on her.
