My shaper loves fish and agrees the backside myth is bs. And a lot of guys get deeply barrelled on fish, too.

So is it the 6'4" or the 6'8" you choose, please?

Roger Beal. It’s just a 10” longer version of my daughters, also an RB. And it’s funny, the majority of my boards have decent nose rocker but this is the only one that never pearls on me. Even if I get in really late and I mess up the drop, it always stays up for me.

I’ve been trying to decide, it’s so hard... if I say one of my SB’s that’s going to leave me wishing I had a LB half the time and if I had only an LB I would wish I had a SB when it gets good. Being that we get more LB waves than we do HPSB waves I would probably go with with single fin 9’ HPLB / Noserider by Greg Geiselman at Orion. It goes in everything and my last really good session was on this boart and I remember how I felt after that session. So I feel good about my decision. Now, after I get a chance to dial in the new Fish I may come back and change this post.

    Gracias Bass!
I sketched the design & colors, told him I wanted the color to be as close to Secretariat's coat as possible but all props to Chris as the maestro who made the magic happen.
Chris is an amazing shaper (he used to do huge numbers of boarts under the Ukelele brand).
(Apologies for getting off track here buoyz)

The scenario Gentlemen, is this: A betel nut gets sucked into the carburetor of your crappy puddle jumper flying from sibolga to the telos, as you come up for air from the broken fuselage your board bag splits open in front of you and your boards are floating off in the 4 cardinal directions. You can only save one. Which is it?

    Nice Thread.
Agree that it's a fish for sure. They are a right sexy shape and they got soul. It's not just because it can be surfed in everything. It's fun to surf in everything. Easy speed and mobility in small gutless waves and big hollow waves. OK it feels like it's going to spin out in the juicy stuff but it doesn't really. You just have to adjust your line a bit. The blistering speed and insane mobility on the wave face on larger days is mind blowing.

    Mine is 5'8" 20 7/8 and 2 3/4. 34 ltr. It's epoxy. flat to rolled V. Fin boxes with K1 Keel fins.

    Love that fish.

Me too, we know, that's why I have 4 Tim Nolte LB's, his rockers so for giving on late entry. I have a real nice heavy glass coke bottle green Brian Wynn 9'8" that works best stomach + or its pearl jam ......

Good choice and new boards changing your mind are welcomed. My best board is an 8'0" pintail minimal but i had to grab my 7'6" instead.
