Kona whole bean. Grind right before putting into the French press. Everyday coffee while at work - RoFo Jamaica Blue Mountain
I've become a fan of peets in the past few months. Drink that at work, and grind our own at home from whatever strikes my fancy when at the store picking up more. Varies from Kona blends to the sumatra stuff. As long as it's high quality and hot, I'm not that picky
I usually drink Kona cause I live in...but I'm not paying $20+ for a 12oz. bag at the supermarche so it's whatever they got at the local costco (varies between kona and molokai, the kauai blue bag is crap).
What the F are you waiting for. I drank so much coffee today it feels like my teeth aren't attached to my mouth. and I just made another cup. Everybody I work with his hating me right now. But i'm getting it done.
Peets Major Dickenson is a go to at the grocery. I like supporting some of the small local roasters (3 Fins, Snowy Owl) -- both dudes that run these joints surf. I also like "Sumatra" types. And Kona is sweet. For economy, BJ's Guatemalan French roast is pretty good. I tend towards the dark to medium roasts. I prefer whole bean and grind just before brewing, pour over, although I have a French press and a "cold brew" setup. If I'm lazy, and using the Keurig, green mountain dark magic or Sumatra, but I'm not too picky. I drink it black.. so if the coffee is fresh, hot, and not burnt, it's good.. on the road cumbys, 7-11, and wawa are fine. I like trying new stuff. I stumbled into a larger scale organic fair trade roaster "Mayorga" when I was in Rockville MD in December. They had a warehouse/roasting facility that sold direct to the public, but also stock some grocers. The place smelled awesome. I sampled there winter blend.. picked up a pound bag. Might have to order some and try their other blends. Excuse me fellas, with all this coffee talk I gotsta go make a cup … love me some 'jo
Seattle coffee Original Starbucks at Seattle Pike Place Market. Big line when we were there so passed it by and took city's Underground tour.
