I need a CHEAP bag. I dont see why they need to be overpriced. Anyone got any suggestions. i just cant afford 230 for a dakine
i have the balin 7'6" travel bag, pretty cheap and has held up ok for the last 5 years or so. http://www.wetsandsurfshop.com/product.asp?locationid=1&ProdId=1&CatId=2589
what are you using it for though? travel? my friend has 1 of those expensive DaKine bags & i have personally helped him unpack from trottin the globe & seen how his boards come home with no damage at all from plane cargo holds.might be worth gettin 1 if that's what your planning on doing.get a cheap 1 if you don't need to depend on it to keep your boards undamaged.
http://cheapsurfinggear.com/cheap_surf_bags.php or check ebay I seen they have had some deal there on bags too
http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1311&_nkw=surfboard+bag&_sacat=See-All-Categories Depends on size and padding. 39.00 to 175.00
Sticky Bumps 6'9" padded "fat series" daybags from Surfsource.net cost about $50. They're roomy and padded well. I've flown several times with two shortboards/fish in lots of padding, towels and wetsuits stuffed into mine without incided. The website says they only make it up to 6'5" but they have a 6'9" and 7'3" as well.
There is a money Kommunity double coffin w/ wheels boardbag on whiskeymilitia right now for $114. If i didn't have my OE coffin that i paid 2Xs as much for, I'd get this.
