Oh schnap. It’s already Sarfin season?!
Can’t wait for all the rich summer renters from Arizona to move in next weekend.

    Let the games begin!

Waves where decent today. Not big but fun. Finally getting back to surf shape after a rough year. Gonna road trip it in a few weeks, not sure where yet.

Took the 8ft foamie out for some super fun clean 2-3ft waves at first light. Needed to get wet, feel great. Water was cold but air was warm. Waves in the forecast this weekend

OCMD Mid cam has been showing a beautiful day out. Knee high, but just gorgeous looking out there at the moment <<<watching from afar (at Work)

Hope for the under call, for this system off the coast this weekend :)

Same here... fun early but got knocked down quickly. First time without gloves and I wished I'd had them just for comfort.

Watched huge schools of bunker breaking the surface all morning in crystal clear water. Would have been a good morning to have the gun and gear in the truck.

After work yesterday, finally got some fun peaky windchoppe with an underlying north ground swell, strong east wind made it a random tableau of ramps and double ups. Scouted the usual spots, not breaking, so pulled up to a spot with lots of cars with racks and saw what I thought was a bunch of groms killing it in chest high beachbreak.

So I paddled out and it turned out to be the whole crew of old salts, and a few young guns, pro level. Took me a bit to get my first wave, it was very crowded with a bit of drift, and the hot older (mid 40s guessing) tall blonde wahine was out too. I had my ho made fat rocket fish that does good in bowly choppe.

On my 4th wave I got a beauty, a fast backside left with a good hack and a down the line a floater out the back, and while paddling back out she gave me just a hint of a smile, and some dude I don't know said good ride when I paddled back to the peak. Got another grab rail backside left right after that, and got into a groove. Life is goode.

You guys are killing it in some great surf, I'm jealous!

Had a fun couple mornings on the LB. Today had the cleanest lines. Lots of Junegrass already though. Glad to have some waves before the shenanigans of summer. Hope to duck out before dark and catch some before heading home

Some fun waves down in RI today, as forecast. My go to board has a ding which needs fixing so I brought my fallback board and I was reminded why it isn't my first choice these days. No gloves, no hood, no problem. Kind of crowded but the shower was back on for the season so that was cool.

One thing I hadn't seen in a long time was someone actually trying to fight another dude in the line up. One guy (who was pretty good) followed a second dude down the line pretty close (a dick move for sure). The second guy lost his sh_t and was just screaming. The next wave the first guy caught a wave maybe 50' up the line and the aggro tried (and failed) to hit him with a kick out when he surfed past. He then paddled in to yell at the first guy some more. The first guy just ignored him, paddled back out and kept catching waves.

Fun longboard waves this morning, felt like a summer morning. Nice offshore peelers. Rode the old 60’s pig, love that board

although I’m with LBcrew, wish I had my gloves...had them in the truck but was too lazy to go back and get them. had a 3/2 and boots, was fine but would have been more comfortable with gloves. Plus my hands didn’t work too well trying to take off my suite. Kinda frozen

Dang, four days in a row?!?! Not a bad start to summer. Out before the masses showed up. Lot of fun rides. Tide was just about right for the second sandbar. Patience paid off with some fun liners

This morning was a nice relaxing session with waist+ waves on the last bit of outgoing tide and the first couple hours of incoming.

Wind was light onshore, semi clean conditions, kinda soft though. I rode the 8’1” McTavish for a while, then switched to my 5’8” Fish, then switched to both again.

I think they both had their moments, pretty much all depended on the waves. There was a mix bag of lefts, rights, some soft, others had more power. Right place right time kinda thing.

Looks like Schitt here for the foreseeable future. Not to mention the Schitt-ton of idiots that have crawled out of woodwork. Headed to PA for the rest of weekend.

DelMarva got the goods from that ocean storm sitting south of Nova Scotia....nice 3 foot swell filled in this evening. I think the whole weekend is gonna have windows of waist high fun waves. Gotta love a Memorial Day Saturday Evening with waves. Nobody wants to brave the beach traffic so the beach traffic isnt even that bad, and the lineup at 6 p.m was deserted. Not so much loving the cold water...no way its above 60. From around 7 tonight:
