Going to end my jam session with something a little a little newer.
Needed something to get me going this morning, bummed about VB.

have this recording in the CD player in my vehicle. Played the whole thing for a scenic 3 hour drive after a great surf recently. Was heading towards the sun set.

We sure got similar tastes duder. Keep sharing please

 

Holy DAM! That was an amazing video and amazing performance. Just awesome

 

Reminded me of an afternoon drive up the CA coast from Ventura to San Luis Obispo back in the 70s.

 

Wow, now that brings back some memories

 

I haven't listened to it all yet. It is Friggin relentless. Not easy listening but so good.

I've been trying to determine a particular bird song for years. I've been hearing it mid-May through June in standard mixed second/third growth SNE forests for years, so in short, pretty wide-ranging forest composition.

Never seen them only observed by ear, but close. The only bird I could correlate with sightings were orioles, they're here around the same time, but I could never pin them to this call.

Needless I say more, I recently learned this bird I've been chasing is a Wood Thrush. And it is by far my favourite small bird song. I fell asleep last night listening to this at .25 speed, it was pretty fkn suite.
