I have a theory.. What if the National Weather Service (or some other data service) changed the API (Applications Programming Interface) to their weather models and data, and SI has not updated its software? I saw some changes announced on here: https://www.weather.gov/notification/ Some such as May 16: SCN19-42: Upgrade of National Water Model Effective: June 19, 2019 May 9: SCN19-41: Additions and Changes to the NAM nest and HiResW Effective June 12, 2019 May 7: SCN19-40: Upgrade NCEP Global Forecast Systems (GFS) to V15.1 Effective June 12, 2019 etc. Regardless.. someone is asleep at the switch.
... oh man,” this ain’t so bad! I haven’t laughed (out loud) at swellinfo forume post since like 2010 #thanksgrays
The GFS upgrade last week was definitely one thing I considered as a possibility for the issue - but I have no idea if data is even pulled from it for the SI forecast. #graylife
I think the ship is really going down.. before we know it the forume could go gay too... oh wait, I meant gray. I clicked on "Become a supporter now" and got this in reply.... "No account upgrades can be purchased at this time. Please check back later"
Just in case this here surfing forum goes as quickly as the forecaste did, I appreciate all of you, every last one of ya. Especially those in this thread.

Yeah it looks like the swell data is coming through, but not the wind data. I think that's messing with the forecasting unicorn magic
Pretty sure they brought Micah back as a “consultant” so not only did he sell them the website but he still gets paid to run it. He lets the mods and the fat Texan run the forum.
