Both good choices. I love me a twisted killer. Got this whole DVD set that breaks down every major serial killer. If you binge watched it would still take you a week to get through. Lots of twisted sleepers in there

My wife always calls me crazy, but i have two man crushes. Mickey Rourke and Charlie Manson. Charlie was one handsome son of a gun. I totally would of killed whoever he told me to.

Sorry Mr. B, got a bit side tracked

Mickey and Dolph Lundgren are two of my favorites - Rourke is just SUCH an old guy bad ass and same with Lundgren.

And speaking of serial killers - I did the intake interview with the guy responsible for the 495 freeway murders in the 80’s. Didn’t know it at the time, he was in court for murdering an inmate who was a deep ped getting ready for early release. The case involved a lot of DNA evidence and his DNA triggered the cold case opening and he was tied to 14 murders over the time span.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program hahaha! Your a sicko Bassy.

I’m actually toying with the idea of renting an AirB+B for a few nights end of August for an end of summer surf-venture...
Brooke’s already wanting another shot at the new sand bars lol.

Thank you for that invite Curl, it’s always a great thing to go new places and try new things Man!
Broadens my viewpoint. After surfing the sandbar at Gilgo I need to up my shortboard game for sure cause the big fishy is just too big to turn that quick.
And the spots for the missus and my Ace when she wants a break will be fantastic. I’ve done it before but I’ll do it again because you reminded me as well; that invite is two way for a trip up north to the land of a thousand breaks. Local day/nightlife is excellent and all closeby, breaks are all
Within 20-25 minutes, lots of local spots to stay, and two great surfshops locally as well. Boston is a 25 minute ride as well.

    Mr B,

Not sure if I understand your rambling on correctly... but wanted to let you know that the spot spoken of in the invite is a fun wave, suited for the longer borts or fishies. It’s almost as good as Belmar. Plus it’s onlu 15 min from the Belmar.

    Your pal

    My ramblings kind Sir? I’ll
Have you know I’m a scholar. And I also just assumed that it being a Joisy wave meant it was sandbar crazy hollow punchy liquid shallow meanness lol
At least for my broken down ass...
But the idea of Belmar so close does peak my interest even more. Not for surfing but to see this magical place of your namesake. Thank you for your clarification!
    Your even better Pal,

    Mr. B the second

Yeah dude I would have if there was any surf... I actually grew up surfing there. Gilgo was my spot for 20 years.

When did you relocate? It's been my home base for my entire surfing life, so 15+ years or so. Good possibility we crossed paths, although i may of just been a kid at the time

Surf sucks but fishing has been fun so that levels out my emotions some. I wont go anywhere near the beach this week so by the end of the week I will be impossible to live with (sorry wifey).

I moved to jersey 10 years ago when I was 30... I’m sure we have crossed paths over the last few years at some point.. usually I take the boat over so I’d be at undeveloped or east of there. I like where I’m at now but I miss it a ton over there

    Dear Mr B2

Yes, by your scholarly calculations, you are correct that the wave that you have been cordially invites to is not your normally assumed dirty jersey wave. Although the water may be dirty, i would suspect that it would be your fav wave on the east coast, save The Belmar.

Speaking of The Belmar, it is an entirely different beast. This is the meanest, fastest, hollowest- yet completely makeable and ripabale wave on the continental USA. We are talking Belmar here. Before you paddle out your required to show up with some heavy bench presses to impress the crowds. Pulling up in a camero helps too.

If you would like more info, feel free to pm me
    Your bff forever
