Pretty damn fun this morning on low / mid - high incoming tide. It was knee to waist and clean with a nice wall to play with, I rode the LB and had some long rides. There was a window where it was consistently waist high for about an hour and in that time I was able to really crank some turns, walk to the nose and back, and hit the lip on the better waves. I had the place to myself 2 of 3hrs, and shared with a few for about a hour. Water felt good, maybe a little upwelling. Beer tastes great right now.
Surf has been crap for a while...even my bonzer biscuit is not good enough for this tiny crap...need to get LB or a foamy.
Pretty fun this AM. Nothing special but better than i expected. Thigh to waist, offshore, low tide. Made for a fun little wave. Rode my 5'8 which was perfect. Weak swell but had a bit of a wall to play with. Can't ask for much more this time of year
More LB waves today, knee - thigh occasionally a little bigger this morning on low incoming. Was fun for 2hrs and then the 3rd hour was slow and inconsistent with the higher tide.
Today was a shocker on the ole delmarva. At the right tide little waves just started rolling in. I almost didnt bring board for a little beach r&r but thankfully I always keep a LB on hand!
Tiny little dribblers at low tide this AM. Was in the water at 6 AM. It was a novelty wave type day. Later went up to Surf Road to meet a buddy. Whilst there I made eye contact with Rob Kelly. He's sooooo dreamy. No homo.
was able to score some waves over the 4th thanks to an old neighbor. she generously brought more boards with her while i made the trek down the beach w some friends in town. got my drunk self to ride some thi hi's for a cool quick sess to get it outta my system and back to red solo cup paradise. took a board up to dirty myrtle for an impromptu visit with a few more hometown buddies but the wind killed any possibility of riding. anyhow, had a good long wknd and made it out safe somehow, hope everything had the same kinda vibes in the gray of it all
Paddled out on a longboard last night for some micro waves. Mostly paddling for exercise 8 weeks after an upper back injury that is taking forever to heal. Back still needs a couple more weeks. Its all down hill after 43 .
Dude check out a chiroquackter, they really do work. You'd be surprised to find out how much your insurance will pay.
I thought that was weird too, not sure what it is. There was a drone flying around around that time I think.
Got out yesterday AM in some in-con-sis-tent 2-4', had to compete with a couple of SUPs but they were cool for the most part. Got one nice set wave that connected all the way inside.
Finally got out today after work in some 2-4 choppy surf. For not being in the water for about 2 friggin months, everything was connecting today and it felt great!
Got some rides on the Fish this morning. I thought it would be bigger than it was but still got a few fun ones in the thigh high range. Nothing too great, but it was clean and water was cool and refreshing.
