I used to surf all day as a youngster, exiting only eat a hot dog and gulp a Coke, in warm 82* degree waters. Nowadays , I m happy with two hours. Gets boring after that.
Pavones, for 5 plus hours, but spent long intervals walking back. Such a long wave, the legs (and feet from the walks back over rocks and sticks and debris) finally gave out, way before the arms and shoulders.
I once surfed so long my head fell off. I mean literally fell off. I searched high and low for it but without eyes (remember I had no head) it was a struggle. Finally found it being used as a soccer ball by a bunch of foreigners on the beach. After pasting it back on I called it quits for the day, figured that was the responsible thing to do.
When I was a grom I would stay in until I had a rash so bad that I couldn't take it anymore either from trunking it or from the sheity wetsuits we had in the 80s.
If it happens again you can just click report down on the lower left and someone from SwellInfo will find your head.
I thought that button was for a surf report. I click it on almost every post. Still waiting on my surf report.
