Got out in 2 ft longboard waves at cocoa beach pier yesterday.

 

all you gotta do is buy what it is they are selling !!! a custom hat whatever it is it goes a long way in getting a wave

took to it yesterday in a small window i had. Bout waist hi rollers sweeping in after a dumbed down wave forecast killed most ppls plans on saturday. Second half of the day proved to be the better on the incoming tide. In that small 30 minute window, had some ride to shores on the LB - some fantastic rides actually. Only a handful by the pier, but it def sparked a bit of a stoke - first being since my trip out of the country

 

Knee to thigh high dribblers over the weekend. Clean, but really small and weak. Would have gone if it was August, but decided to brew 10 gallons of ale instead. Lol!

 

was not bad this weekend at the right tides considering the forecast basically said flat

 

Surfed jetty park Sunday morning super packed lineups everywhere. Head to ++ by semi clean and no drift had some really good wipeouts and a few fun rides. Sunday afternoon. Headed down the street to cocoa pier. Surfed the north side with only 10 or so others. Same conditions. Better results as it was a bit more lined up but those sneaker sets made me pay a few times.

 

After quite the lull that followed a good two week run, I finally got back in the water. Some short period west in the water with some inconsistent long period, steep south produced a few waist to stomach high waves. Got more than my share (since I was pretty much by myself) during a 90 minute session in front of the power plant. Glad I decided to take the Kies 7'2" Wide Nose Fish. The extra volume definitely helped.

 

Glassy little 2-footers yesterday... ho hum.

Great viz.

 

Waist to chest with one legit overhead set. Long period SSW tapering off, long period NW filling in. Looking good for the next few days.

 

Offshore, stomach to head+ on the sets today as the NW continues to fill in and the SSW starts to die down. Surfed campground with the salty dogs and a few dozen of my closest friends. Got a small handful of waves that were way better than I was. Another fun session.

Hey .. I took the 9'6 Walden mega magic out on some 1.5. That's right 1.5 ft high waves for about an hour yesterday cause that's all we had here and I'm THIRSTY!
