How about some night shots. I took these this past winter. Need a really clear, cold night with no wind to pull these shots off. Pictures taken from 9 miles away.

 

This thread is making me wish I didn't sell all my camera equipment. I took a ton of photos over the years when my kids were growing up playing sports. Here is a shot of my son that I'm especially proud of. Taken in 2010 at dusk.

That's a great shot. Thanks for posting that along with the camera model. You can buy those camera bodies now for next to nothing. Under $75. I've been thinking of buying an older canon body like that and making a home built water housing for it.

I found about 50 of these mags at a yard sale a few years ago. All in great shape dating back to 1979. Paid 1$ for all of them and got invited back to the house where I purchased them for a friendly get together with a bunch of locals who told great stories of surfing back then. Made a few friends and found some folks to share waves with
