It's coming. The one that starts with an i. Looks like it's going to skirt the coast of Florida and bring me some surf. But it's only for me and it's not for you.

As of this update, my house is literally in the center of the cone. Right on the tip of that little point of land north of the NS/SC border. However, cone keeps moving east with every update. I see this every year, where you can almost predict how the cone will shift in the coming days. It's like the models always estimate the "turn" a day later than it actually happens. I predict, based on 3 decades of watching this same **** go down every year, that the track continues to move east, and by Sunday it the 'cane makes a brief landfall skirting Hatteras, IF it makes landfall at all. What do you guys and gals think?
If it hits the Space Coast, it hits you. We'll get one... maybe two tide cycles of surf out of it here in MoCo.
Gotta love good ole swellinfo forecasts. 62 mile an hour onshore wind and the forecast is...... 2-3 feet and the board choice of the day is a SUP.
good call based on past experience, but not this time. landfall in OIB, which means your neck of the woods got the vigorous NE quandrant. Oak Island got hammered and is now under evac orders, effective noon today.

Paulette otw - two weeks out. Looking good for wee right coasters. Gonna get some ground swell this wknd from one of those weak tropical storms, but it looks to pull some weight. Checked multiple forecasts, beaches down each end. Cancelled San Diego trip as a result. it better do sumtin
2020 - the year that the cane season sent Gulf better waves than the right coast. Congrats. I see another swell coming in this wknd for ya'll, and for some reason i'm not there
