Okay, I may or may not have a problem with ice cream. I could stop eating it if I want to, I just don't want to. Since most of us live in touristy areas, I'm sure that we all have a "go to" ice cream joint. Here in North County, our best option for hand dipped is Handles. One of my favs from back in Baltimore is Prigles. How about you guys?
Nicholas Creamery, Hoffman's, and Crazy's near me in NoMoCo. But for the best you can get, you gotta drive for almost an hour north and west... to Thomas Sweet in New Brunswick, for a Blend-In. Like a lot of my vices, a tiny little bit of really good sh!t is all I need.
This made me remember the frozen custard from Goodberry's, from when I lived in Raleigh, NC. That was the bomb. They blended in the toppings like Thomas Sweet and they would flip it upside down before they handed it to you. If it fell out, you got it for free (they would make you a clean on, of course). Frozen custard is an area that we are severely lacking here in North County. I could go to Ritas, but meh. We need something like Kohr Brothers in Bethany Beach, DE. Can you tell it's flat here?
I was just about to mention Rita's. I grew up near a Rita's in MD. The layered custard and sorbet was amazing. There was one in WB for a while but I think it closed? Kohr Bros. is a good one for sure. There was one in the Annapolis Mall. If I want good ice cream in Wilmington I go to a place called Kilwin's Chocolates. Everything there is home-made from old recipes. Apparently Michael Jordan worked there when he was growing up too (his family's old house is like a mile from mine).
That’s okay...I’ll just take that as a yes. By the way, walking to me would be beneficial for your campaign. Jus sayin
Had this crap the other night that the wife brought home because she be a vegan. It’s called “oat something... made from oatmeal and just wasn’t, ice cream as we think it to be. Probably better, I mean healthier for us but I don’t recommend it over a Klondike bar.
