How can you defend how this site has been run the past few years?

 

You misunderstand the meaning of defend. I'm not defending what happened to who or who said what about who. My point is simply this...the people who are regulars here now contribute more to surf site talk than before and less to measuring their coques and hating on everything or everyone that doesn't agree with their views.
So if you take my view point as defending this site then so be it. I still think you were a cool contributer when I joined in 13 and you're most likely a cool guy in person.

Its still fun to be here and I continue to enjoy the people here.
My only frustration is when people re appear just to hate. I'd anyone is looking for an echo chamber then please go to a different site where politics and like mindedness rule supreme.

Sorry for the rant. Looks like some solid surf is settling in here in florida so in the words of world b...slide on.

 

How can you call this site anything but trash? They're calling tomorrow (9/14/20) FLAT when there's clearly swell in the water.

Looks like it has promise. I like the $10 a year for 16 day forecast. Surflies can't touch that.

 

didn't even know that was an option, but after getting Surlines free trial which i'm about to cancel, that extended forecast can be really bogus. that's right, bogus. It hasn't helped the last couple times i've got the free trial with a trip upcoming

 

Long range forecast works better out here when we are watching the southern hemi swells. Any of the shorter lived swells are going to be hard to predict that far out.
