I'm back. Had to practically start from scratch. When I finally could pop up again (3 years after knee injury), rode an 8 ft wavestorm for 3 months..but couldn't turn that pos. Then, dropped down to a 6 ft catch surf Log. Kneecap wasn't digging hard boards yet, so rode the Log for 2 years...got it so wired, I was ripping all kinds of snaps and round houses on it. When kneecap finally felt good on a hard board, bought a 5'10" CI pod mod...love it. Hope it's fun tomorrow. Supposed to be 3-4', but cloudy and cold. Water's only 55 deg, though (I know most of you guys on the east coast are braving sub-50 deg water and even colder air temps).
Glad to hear it man. No shame in riding a foamy (for me anyway). That said, wavestorms are garbage. Temps have been really nice here in NC. Air in the 70s and water hovering around 60. No complaints
I just find I have a lack of motivation to use internet forums anymore, but I suppose that's not the worst thing in the world? If I have enough going on that I either forget the forums I would frequent or just don't bother going to them as much?
