Delaware is probably the least swell-exposed zone in the mid-atlantic. Days like yesterday are when that little bit of extra shelter kind of pays off. Still solid, but nothing like states to the north and south of us. From mid morning
Great photos guys. I got out yesterday after it cleaned up. Nice size chunks and it finally feels like winter down here.
2 waves may have cost 2 teeth , must have clenched the jaw while taking it on the head . Although I was in deep water paddling back , a set seemed to find me .
I seen that video. Definitely biggest Jersey soft top wave ridden ever (It was truly gnar if your reading Ben)... Biggest Jersey ever surfed. Not even close.
The video of that ride tells a different story than the split second still image making the rounds. Surfers seem to have reallllly short memories and zero sense of history. Hype claims disrespect humble chargers like Hammer and Gleason who've had bigger heavier rides in the recent past as well as the older guys who were charging those spots before YouTube and Instagram existed.
yea it was LB , the beach replenishment wave made it possible to jump in on the N side of the L at the end . Literally had 20 strokes and was out . The Rip made that possible , just ungodly. to paddle against .
Super fun waves today. A little soft but every once in a while a real gem would roll through. Surfed my ass off.
Found an empty sandbar with long, clean lefts yesterday. Mostly in the waist high range, but a few shoulder high sets would pop up here and there. Sunny and "warm," too...
dang, i could see losing a crown but that's the whole implant it actually came out like that, ripped right out of your jawbone?
I had issues prior for months , infections under the implant . The dentist had put stitches in my gum the week before rebuilding the area . I was over it wanting it out while he. was explaining it was in solid and what a pain to take out .
