Santa Cruz boards

    do anyone know anything about em? i just picked up a board in basically new condition for $100. Its a 5 10' pumpkin seed epoxy lite.

    i have the 5'11 matt archbold wing tail shortboard. its epoxy but when the conditions are right, waist to head high clean waves, its my favorite board

    I rode one once a few years ago. It was pretty good for what it is. Paddled well; got into waves pretty easy. Also, nice speed and smooth turns. Conditions that day were about waist/chest, really clean with almost no wind.
    You'll have more difficulty in choppy conditions or strong offshores though, but not a bad find for $100

    I rode a 6'0" epoxy fish a few times over the past few summers, and it's not bad. conditions were generally clean, waist to chest high. it was easy to paddle, and it handled well. never tried it in rough/choppy waters, but I feel like it'd be difficult to use in those conditions. solid board though.
