Costa Rica. there is so much to do at each of the resort areas. Manuel Antonio is an awesome place, it sits right in a Rain Forest reserve. beautiful quiet beaches. wildlife, zip line ( a must for everyone), waterfalls, great food. set-back only breaks at high tide. but their are surf spots all along the coast. I stayed at Playa Hermosa. Perfect location to get around to all the surf spots but theirs enough right there to never budge. Esterillos is also nice and very laidback. Spent very little. very cost effective place and very very nice locals. lots of cervasa as well. Dominical is also nice. If your going to Costa Rica in November choose your spot according to the rainy season.
Make sure you do a zip line tour of the canopy together. Nothing better than being on the tree tops with the toucans. I was at Playa Hermosa near Jaco.
