Today Was a great day to surf OCMD

ill vouch for dirtythirty, he surfed tuesday and wednesday. and wednesday morning was so much fun, better than tuesday imo. "legit swell...thins it out" my man, who might you be referring to? i feel like most of the people on this web site are the people you will see out there when it gets big. why we gotta get upset over ppl sharing where they surfed? it is no big 'secret' that 'midtown' gets good on most swells. only people surfing this time of year are people living nearby/salisbury students. Not like we have 1000 beginners flocking to 'midtown'. sheesh, all people gotta do is check the cam haha ya 'secret spot' wooooooooooo

I surfed 'north side of the jetty' with 5-10 other people most of the day.

and what's the difference between saying 'midtown' and 54-30? damn

just wish we could all get along.

Im not complaining about naming streets that wasn't in my post. Never said anything about a secret spot. Im not referring to any1 in particular but big swells does thin it out which makes it more enjoyable bc you get move waves and your around ppl who know what they are doing.

yesterday

deng don't you hate it when yer wetsuits sucks up against yer junk and everytime you move it gives unpleasurable frictions? Impossible to fix too cause it creates a vacuum. Happened to me bad yesterday, luckily not bad enough to hurt my surfing. Oh and it was at 46th street.

 

Seriously, that is the worst. When you turn and lay down to paddle out for your set, and you have to spot paddling and try and adjust your junk, only making things worse with the vacuum effect going on....

I was wondering if that happened to anyone else... thats seriously the worst feeling in the world its seriously like a crazy vacuum in there haha

 

dude same with me, damn, that sucks so bad. it feels like yr nut is being sucked towards yr internal organs. can be painful, and hard to adjust..

 

ECsponger and dirtythirty34, the attitude I am referring to is you consistent need to say specifically where you spent your water time.

In all fairness, many (myself Included) have on more occasions then need to be mentioned, posted in similar manner. But you live and learn; I had hoped that a little critical feedback would make it click in your brains that it is not in your own interest to post as you do.

With beach replenishment looming,...It would behoove you to limit you specific post.

Now with that being said, allow me to say that No one cares when you surfed (what day) or how often.

This one post does more to show your attitude then anything else. Did I really tell you to go anywhere? I do not think so and actually the more you post the more maybe you should keep to those south streets.

Good luck with your attitudes when the water gets a little warmer and the real locals (older) reclaim their spots.

I know for a fact that you pull back when it gets big and that your a ghost in the water in the winter. I am not the best or the worst surfer in the water But your bull**** is ridiculous. leave the heavy local vibe to the hawaiians, nobody should be claiming and nobody should be threatening because this is a damn internet forum. If your so such an expert on keeping secrets and giving advice on how to not spoil things then why are you on here anyway. Your not a moderator on here or in the water as far as im concerned. Let be what is before you give yourself a heart attack. Dont call us young punks and we wont call you washed up. seems pretty simple to me.

I realize that for the most part your post was flame bait, but the points you are trying to make have no basis in reality. Can you please explain how you felt threatened by any thing I wrote?

You are a Liar. You do not know me. If you are a punk, then wear the shoe, otherwise, why would you worry about it? Are those other guys that you seem to be defending your boyfriends or something?

You have something against old people as well? Some of the best (most consistent) surfers around here are over 40. Is 40 old now? Crap I'm 39, I guess I am almost washed up. <<now that is funny.

I can not Speak for Shawn,... although getting married, having a baby, and then having that boating mishap out at the OC shoals (while Taking pictures) more then likely put a damper on his surfing and Photo shoots.

I'm still here though.....still hardly ever miss a single swell. Take pictures, video (hd now), and of course I get in the water. Been trying real hard to get my own site up and running,.. For as simple as it seems to be, it ain't. Got goods from these last 8 years sitting on hard drives. One of these days,... One of these days everyone will get their own personal disks, I promise.

 

"find some other lineups with attitudes like that" that seems to be an insinuation that people who share dirtythirty and EC's attitude should find another limeup "before the older local return to the water when it gets warmer" i am paraphrasing here obviously but that seems to be a pretty recognizable warning to me. recognizing a threat and listening to it are one thing. we will not heed your warning and you hopefuly will be out in the water to see it regulate itself as it always does.

I do know who you are. I do not know your name or where you are from and since you obviously dont want peoplet o knowp i will respect your wishes by not giving a description however your ponytailed hair and bodyboard will sure to keep you sticking out like a sore thumb while we are enjoying the waves here in all seasons warm water and cold as your sitting behind your computer screen. You may not be old in age, but your old at heart. I respect many an older surfer and locals here in the Delmarva area as do most people on this site, and you are a poison to the repectable older surfer who does indeed rip. mad respect to all those heads and to them keep on kepin on. and as for you. i just got out of the water for my second session today. just like yesterday.
