a great heated debate that will likely expand further that anyone expected. is there a better coast or does each situation present itself with a new outcome? from surfing the east coast for almost over fifteen years there is def a diff between the swell and surf that comes throught this area. however, trips to california have become a rare occasion that presents itself. while on the west coast i felt that it was easier to catch and do manuvers on waves. do you think its easier to surf on west coast waves after normally surfing on east coast waves? plz share opinions and controversy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fl East Coast surfers tend to move quicker because they have a limited time to get up and begin their maneuvers. Plus the waves are smaller so we have to try harder. That is why the small wave capital of the world produces so many great pros.
