First, just nix the crap about hating......if a picture is good it is good. However,..... what is up with some of the stupid "descriptions" of some of the pictures being posted? I could go on, but someones feeling might get hurt. Suffice it to say that talk is cheap around these parts,.... always has and always will,.... for both young and old alike. And yes I have been guilty of the same.....but I have tried to grow out of it. Remember, just an opinion, so do not freak out some of you.
Was it cold that day or what? Really Mr. Hudson,... from a guy who wears girls pants/jeans, your point is lost. And it was off topic,.......you have been waiting for a chance/reason to post that picture,...again,.. for awhile, I am sure. Did you nutt on yourself after you hit "submit reply"? By the way,.......I have always enjoyed the pictures you take, but it has always been strange trying to put the person who takes the pictures,........ with the person taking the pictures. I got more,..if you really want to go there.....just leave it alone is best I would say. Remember, this was posted as an Opinion. So try not to >>>>Hate<<<< as some would say.
Good example here of what NOT to do.... http://www.swellinfo.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=1044&c=1 THANK GOD GIANTS WON!!!!
speaking of what not to do,.........I am in a little trouble now, ha ha.girlfriend says we/I act like kids on these forums throwing mud at each other. I think is is just to much wine and cheese watching the SuperBowl, or as she calls it the StupidBowl. What can you do, she is European. And yes this one is off topic as well but, man. I am sooooo glad the Giants pulled that out! Same team winning over and over gets old fast. That was the best SuperBowl in a while.
English 101- Titling protocol Stand-up= two feet on the deck of the board (sponge or glassed) and the body generally in an upright position with the head over the engaged foot. Hands and arms are used for little more than balance and paddling. Prone= not standing up, but lying down with one's whole body, hence the name "Bodyboarding"~ generally on one's belly but I'll have to admit that I've tried to do it on my back with not much success. Typically the rider is holding the nose and one rail for control. Prone riders typically use hands and legs for paddling since fins make it hard to convert to "Stand-up" status, but I've seen it done- usually without fins though. Drop Knee= or variably a raised knee, since one is down and the other is up, sort of half prone, half stand-up. It may be the best of both worlds, maybe not, since typically the rider is still wearing fins that get in the way of a full fledged "stand-up." Boardless surfing= no need of a board of any kind, truly the purest form of wave riding- if you don't count the fins that help you catch the "whatever you call them things." Absolutely no fear of ever falling off the board, but you could still drown. What would you call them? If you don't like the names or the images, don't look at them.
dude i love bodyboarding on my back...only in the summer tho, cant see the point of wasting perfect chest high winter waves on something for nothing but ****'s and giggles
wow... first of all, i do not own and never have owned a single pair of girls jeans. i wear MENs jeans that are fitted. second, the picture i posted was just for a simple humorous response to your initial post. i'm not making fun of you, nor do i have anything against you. there's been several times where i've kept my wetsuit on while traveling to different breaks. just take it easy because i'm not trying to start anything. it was a harmless joke
no excuses, just some remorse,.. just a little..Not as serious as some may have made it out to be...wine, cheese a superbowl and the internet, a hot temper and some critical views. It is a forum.....just get it out, so when and if you meet me on the beach, and you actually talk to me, you realize that i put others before myself, and I understand/know the meaning of Aloha.
I am sure you would know...The sad part is that no one even mentioned your screen name, at least not me. It was assumed that you were the point of the topic, by someone else. How many pictures are posted on this site now? Do you know? You are not the only one, or maybe you think you are? I can play along just like anyone else can. From what I gathered, you assumed my post was entirely directed at you, and that may be giving yourself to much credit. Look, talking trash on the internet by any of us can be both a good and bad thing, depending on how far people allow it to go. I for one rarely allow myself to hold a grudge, especially over very stupid stuff. And I will freely admit that I have started my share of topics over stupid stuff. But it is a vent, no more and no less, just as much as I would hope that,.. others replies are as well. However, there are some that do harbor ill will towards others for no other reason then that is who they are truly as a person. But that is not me or who I am as an individual, regardless of what you may think or how you view some of my posts. And at the same time, how many of us can claim that you/we are not the pot calling the kettle black? I have had a few run-ins with some of the better local surfers over the years in the water. You know, i did not see them or they did not see me,.. that type of crap that happens once in awhile when the surf is good but the breaks are tight. But people get over that ****, and never, not once, have I ever allowed myself to be so shallow to not post there picture. And I can tell you that I have had a few encounters, and words said, that most would have deleted every thing they had of them, just out of spite. But that is not who I am. And I never will be. So say what you want, think what you want,..all I know is that it all comes back around. And so far I have been nothing but blessed for my efforts over the years, by giving of myself for others enjoyment and posterity. Because it is not about me, and it is not about you, it is about us and what we do to seek moments of peace in our world. So before you cast that stone, know for a fact that I have already thrown mine, and it has already came back at me. My most sincere apologies to those of you who may have felt slighted by this tread.
