Anybody here do ding repair (or know someone who does) in VA Beach? I have a seriously jacked-up nose that I'd like to get fixed without going to a surf shop and getting charged something ridiculous for it. Also, always happy to support local folks. Thanks.

Post a couple of pics of the nose. Several of the guys will give you advice on how to fix it yourself. Make sure to include whether the board is epoxy or poly.

Go to Beach Board House(Austin Custom Surfboards). He is the man when it comes to ding repair and restoring vintage boards.

Amen to that. He has done some excellent restorations for others that I have seen the before and afters. Great ding work for me.

Glen Spence. This guy is really good. He took care of me last summer. Really nice guy and quality work. I wasn't sure about posting his email address but that's how I saw to contact him on craigslist when I found him last year. I think he calls himself "Resurrection Repair" or something like that.

Edit -- And if I remember right, I think he posted pics of a really trashed nose that he fixed really good as an example on the listing he had.
