I might be going there with my cousin and aunts and uncles and grandparents and other close family. I might need to get a away. I am planning on bringing my board(s).

I need the run down on the OBX. Spots, shops, the works.

Duck Village Outfitters (they're all over obx). Spend some money there

spots can be found online pretty easily. usually anywhere works better than up north, but there are specific spots readily accessible online (dont want to release too much info)

shops: of course WRV. a couple others are duck village outfitters and Natural Art. on thhe other hand, you should try doing some research on your own to find some spots

Ya, definitely hit up Natural Art in Buxton. Old school shop focused on surfing. Grab an In the Eye board if you can. I see you surf in Stone Harbor in the summer. I lived and learned to surf in there in the 80s & early 90s and live in Buxton now. Be prepared for more juice than you're used to in South NJ. The the S facing beaches below Buxton give you more options for offshore winds.
