United-Continental Merger Another Downer

    This merger probably will hurt the waverider traveling community more than help. United's policies for surfboards and bodyboards are generally more restrictive or costly than Continental - Continental services much of Central America and the Caribbean while United has not. United has many flights to Hawaii.

    Sir is that a bodyboard in that bag? No, it is a boogie board I use to float on while snorkeling with my family. OK then, no charge and thanks

    that is absurd if that is true. i generally havent had any problems with united but they are expensive. not sure how continental rolls.
