United's policies for surfboards and bodyboards are generally more restrictive or costly than Continental - Continental services much of Central America and the Caribbean while United has not. United has many flights to Hawaii.

that is absurd if that is true. i generally havent had any problems with united but they are expensive. not sure how continental rolls.
