What machine do you use akai? I just started playing around with garageband, chopping samples, loading samples and making kits but the drums all sound kinda weird in garageband and thinking akai drum machine is def something im gonna get to load tons of samples...seems like you can just work right off machine too. Anyway, checked out your beats.."Watching Our World Gleam " was nice, how did you make the intro skip like that? ping me, I'd love to know some of your techniques you use and machines/programs.
I like to ride my bike on the beach at low tide when it's really flat because it's fun to ride right alongside the water on a beautiful day. On the windy, "victory at sea" days I sometimes have fun skateboarding on the boardwalk or in the street because the wind at your back makes you go a lot faster so that's kind of fun. usually, I just do schoolwork or hang out with friends when there's no surf. I like to do yardwork when i'm bored because i love physical activity, and hey, the work has got to be done at some point or another. When there's nothing else to do, like when it's raining outside and I'm stuck in the house, I end up eating a lot (a habit I'd like to break soon).
Non-surfing activities near the beach? Probably just riding my cruiser or walking/running the beach. Honestly though, if there are no waves - I have plenty of crap to take up my time (e.g. work, school, house, wife, dog, etc). Not complaining about any of that though, only complaining about the LACK OF SURF!
I would be pissed if i were u man. to have the mud hole shut down all because of some teens who put it on tv. good luck finding another spot
Yeah it was all on MTV's Surf School show they had on MTV 2 a while ago. That weekend the opening to the pit was all back dug with a Loader and Rangers put signs up . Oh well life goes on
