I just did 4 hours in OCMD. Offshore perfect fun surf, solid waste to chest with an occasional almost head high wave.

I was out for a little over 3 hours in Jersey today. I'd say shoulder high occasional head high. There was some real bombs out there. Oh did I mention the barrels? Quite a few :D!!!!!

Was just back down there at 2:30 (working not surfing) wind is from the south in Maryland but still plenty of lined up waves with some nice sets, just a bit of texture. If I didn't have tons of work I would be going back this afternoon.

    nice sesh!

Quite a nice sesh in OCNJ this afternoon/evening. Was out for 2 hours-- shoulders got TIRED after not much paddling over the past 6 weeks. Waves had pretty good power, lots of people out but good vibes in the water. Nothing like some tasty waves to put everyone in a good mood!!

    Hope you all got some.

Yesterday was awesome in Monmouth Co. Solid waist-chest sets consistently rolling in, with some rogue shoulder surprises. Easily the best waves I've seen in months. :D

Yup... some good ones up here. Finally, right? Saw a guy get "the wave of the day" at one spot... about a foot overhead and perfect. He hooked it right up into the pocket off the bottom turn and stalled it into a little coverup. One of those, "I wish I was him" moments. Other than that one, by the time I got out, it was mostly chest to shoulder high, but nice and slopey and glassy for some buttery turns.

That was the key yesterday, plus the size. The shape was so much better than I've seen in a while. Made me realize how many variables there are.

Yesterday was incredible. Thought it was strange that I was the only one as far as the eye could see out at assateague, then again I was there at the crack of dawn. Definitely a couple overhead screamers but mostly stomach to neck high. It was a much needed sesh after an eternity of nothing.

...and next wednesday is looking even better? Let's hope that the forecast doesn't change too much.
