I think the strong winds are going to keep most people at home tomorrow. Late afternoon should be good times though. I will be out somewhere in OC late afternoon (damn college exams).
looking on the small side with the outgoing tide this morning in delmarva. Im thinking the afternoon incoming tide is going to be the call.
It was good, but dumping slightly. Shallow uptown... Where I broke my 5 month old board after 15 minutes, on the second wave at 330 today. IM PISSED. I sure hope ole' Chauncey can do something with this one. Definitely having some drinks tonite.
yeah I hear ya on the dumps, just walls of water not to many lines to be had but fun when they showed up
tides were a big factor today. late afternoon incoming tide helped big time even tho the swell was fading.
Wish I would have stayed a little longer, it was good for about 2 hours then started to get unorganized, but after seeing some of those pics I am kicking myself for leaving so quickly.
After having been told of a/the cluster right off the jetty, early in the day, I thought twice about going there. >>>Then playing the fool, in OC,...with the current.<<< I was just happy to stay in one spot. i had thought about making a run to your spot late, and yes,.......after seeing a few of the pictures wish I had. It would have been a great way to end the day. Much thanks Mr. White for giving me that call. Glad you got your due, and hope for a score the next time as well. Very soon actually, maybe....
just so you know , IHATE YOU ALL! lmao. Man I am just now getting this flu kicked. Going on 3 weeks. Glad yall got it good. I LOVE THOSE FUGN LEFTS TOO!!!
can someone tell me how to read a wave map.. i understand the arrows are pointing in the direction of the wind is blowing but dont know anything else
arrows are swell direction, the other lines show wind direction and strength...the more lines for the wind, the stronger it is
oh ok thanks.. so if all the arrows are consistently pointing toward shore then that means a pretty good swell?
