sunday was epic it was a solid 4-5ft barrelling top to bottom the only thing is i forgot my wetsuit!! it sucked...i would run down about half a mile and in 15 mins you would be right back were you started from...i would paddle out go in wait in the car to warm up some....and do it all over again
bummer. sorry to hear about your wetsuit brain fart. I've been there before, where I'm all ready to go out just to realize I'm missing a boot. I'm sure you'll be more aware to double check your gear next time, I know I am.
I have done that once before. But it was a whole helluva lot colder out than last weekend. Drove down to Bradenton, got out, checked the spot, and it was firing. Went to the car, everyon starts pulling out wetsuits, and I am franticly trying to figure out where mine is. Then it hits me, I left it by the front door back in St. Pete. Only Surfed for about 30 minutes 2 different times. I think I got pneumonia from that sh*t. I was sick for 2 weeks. Never forgot my suit after that LOL.
