Anyone ever make their own wetsuit or boardshorts? I am pretty skilled with the sewing machine and have modified boardshorts and repaired wetsuit seams but I am interested in trying to make a 2 mil jacket and maybe down the road a full suit.

    Any info would be appreciated.

I have a 4/3 with a ripped seam, not sure if you know how to glue weld, but looking for someone who can fix it, I'd rather pay someone to fix it, then spend the cake for a new one...let me know if this is something you can do?

i cant speak on the wetsuit , but the board bag is really easy and cheap , its not going to look good unless you have a sewing machine and some skill using it but it will def work, i bought some clearance fabric from walmart and the egg crate sleeping pads and sewed it all up it did not have a zipper i have to slide the board in kinda like a sleeping bag but it cost like 10 bucks and took maybe an hour i just sewed it will i was watching tv .

thanks...i dont care how it looks i just want something to protect my boards. I failed my home-ec sewing project back in middle school so i have no experience but its pretty easy? and you think a snowboard bag could be made the same way?
