Lake Atlantic returns!

nah i scored yestarday all day too

 

i saw it yesterday, it was pretty good at a certain spot, glassy and peaking a frames

 

didn't see any bombs, but it was definitely still really fun.

this forecast is absolutely bleak. can't remember the last overhead day i surfed.

 

the sad part is the we are just starting to enter the true doldrums period for the mid-atlantic.

 

Weeiirrd indeed.

 

All I can say is that Tuesday was sooooooo crowded. It was elbow to assholes from 36th to 48th. Then came last night, and we had some funky short period wind wave swell, and all the peaks you wanted. Wind sat down, and it was fun. Surfed in front of the Castle and there was less than 10 out from 7 to dark. Had tons more fun compared to jockeying for waves Tuesday.

 

Hahahaha...

 

i cant even explain how jealous i am that you can say you "scored" when it was knee high.

 

Tuesday was surprisingly clean well into dark, one of the better evenings recently, fairly unbelievable for summer in NJ.
