Awsome Weekend!!!!

i was really disappointed sunday. Winds were too north, and it was more frustrating than fun. Av was ok, it was best Saturday night. solid chest high with texture. it was my favorite session. overall it was really nice surfing actual waves with some sort of power but i was pretty frustrated all weekend.

 

friday night in DE seemed to be the best from what I saw, a little choppy, but I'm sure O.C. was good too...we really need a storm to get here and shift the sand, though...everything seems to be breaking way too close to the beach...I kept running out of water...lol

Awesome weekend...I'm not so sure, it was fun, but I'm ready for some real head high to 1-2 ft. overhead or bigger, **** the bigger the better is my thought, can't wait to get some real swell around here! Pray for hurricanes!!!!!!

 

Anyone down in OC MD get some photos this weekend? I don't have the new flash app at work so I can't even view that youtube clip...

I completely agree with you... Sunday was too choppy and wasn't really that fun of a wave. I didn't go Saturday night but I went around noon and it was definitely the best session I had this weekend too, fast lines that closed out a little bit but offered a lot of punch for maneuvers.

 

Surfed both days.Saturdays lineup was a zoo.Sunday's size was a little bigger.Might have to start with the dawn patrol a little more to get away from everyone.Hopeful Sunday will play out because I am off.

 

couldnt get out this weekend but tried to get some leftovers today but there was onshore wind and terriable conditions in DE. Anyone feel the same?

 

It's funny how different spots can change the surf so much... Today was pretty fun, nice little bumps with some good sections.

 

Finished my weekend off with the Jack Johnson show........nice end to 3 decent days of surf. Question for you jersey folks: G. Love said he took jack out at Atlantic City to surf, any thruth? Anyone see this on Sunday?

Saturday was definitely better than Sunday where I was. Although they were both better than that month+ of flatness.

 

NJ Spongin, yes lack of size. it was 3-5 feet.

i was in hatteras,and it had decent size,and i heard it had decent size up here,too,especially saturday afternoon/evening

 

Saturday was 4-6ft (where I was) and after flatness for like a month, 4-6ft = awesome. If you're waiting for 8-10ft faces, you're gonna be doing a lot of couch surfing.

does anyone else think Weds night was the best this summer? Late afternoon (7-9pm) it was solid chest-shoulder and offshore and perfect rights. By far the best session in two months.
